ULTRA LIGHTWEIGHTS

Ultimo Propellers are without any doubt the lighter propellers in the market, reducing considerably the weight of the entire set (3 Kg. higher dimension) that it may extend the useful life of elements transmitters.

SMOOTHNESS AND SPEED

The design of the blades, give the best sailing smoothness and maximum speed, reducing the wind before of it, which is quite common on elliptical or parallel blades. Its sharp edge produce a much better cutting of water.

WITHOUT TURBULENCES

Its sail folded PERFECTLY. That reduces significantly its resistance of moving ahead, eliminating all kind of turbulence over the shovel of the rubber. The over position of sectors in the shovels assure simultaneously the opening in advance and come in reverse.

YOUR SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEMS

WITH METAL PROPELLERS

The traditional metal propellers act as truly voltaic cells, eroding components of the propulsion system (sail drive) in a constant time. They are perfect energy transmitters, even if they use it or not the propulsion system

Fasteners tear too much because the water corrodes the filets of security, and it starts to loose its elements as anodes, and shovels until the complete fall of the propellant.

The metals of the propeller requires a permanent maintenance of the anodes, antifouling painting, adjustments, and a continuously change of boat parking lot, generating an important cost due to it is necessary to make this maintenance several times in a year.

GALVANIC CURRENT

Ultimo propellers work as an isolator of the propeller system (sail drive) within a determinate time.

The elimination of galvanics and the isolator of the system, permit to lengthen its useful life in years, and happen the same with the components whithin freshwater or sea water.

Ultimo propellers reduces significantly the cost of maintenance, specifically on anodes replacements, painting and sailboat parking lot.

We recommend the use of original ZINC anodes. Ultimo propellers do not required antifouling.

The traditional metal propellers suffer a chemical and physical alteration on its matter, causing superficial alterations which produce inlays and structural deformations and that stop its correct functioning.

HYDROLISIS

Ultimo propellers do not suffer pollution consequences caused by aqueous environment within sea or fresh water. Pollution and its PH consequent alterations do not disturb its composites either chemical or physically. They never corrode, and they always keep a perfect state on their surface.

Do not require painting antifouling or surface protection. It looks wonderful for years.

The effect of cavitation is caused by the pressure difference between the blade faces. It is basically a constant bubbling that change with the design of each profile.
When this has a greater thickness increase this effect but decrease the erosion that hatches above metal blades surface, generating imprints which produce damages on the surface and corrode the attack edges.

Thanks to the thickness of the attack edges increase the cavitary effect, but decreases the erosion, creating another unwanted effect of vibration.

CAVITATION

Ultimo propellers are the best, thanks to its molding technology for the composite, which allow them to generate sharp edges, decreasing the cavitation to the minimum without being altered by the hatching of the bubbles because these are absorbed without leaving marks or produce surface deterioration.

Microorganisms of the aqueous environment changes depending of the different latitudes of the planet, sea, lakes or rivers; but they definitely exist in all.

We have described the effects of Galvanic Current, hydrolysis and cavitation.

They produce alterations that generate superficial deformations at the beginning. The micro-organisms start to be embedded and deformed the surfaces which change the propeller functioning.

This common, simple and consistent effect, requires permanents works as removal, burnished, polished, and painting with antifouling.

It removes material that alters the surfaces and reduces its duration.

MICROORGANISMS

Ultimo propellers are the only one which are designed and completely composite manufactured: core and shovels. Composites are not altered by the effects of galvanic current, hydrolysis or cavitation.

It keeps its surface finished, thus the use of the periodic propellant (monthly) lift off all kind of microorganisms accession: self-clean.

We have detected important accessions in boats that were not used by years. But we lifted up the cracks in a couple of minutes to return to its initial state without leaving some sign of inlays.

Again we do not recommend to paint our propellers with antifouling
